What should I expect on the first visit?

We want to know all about you to better care for you. On your first visit, we will take a thorough history. With a kind, listening ear, we want to know what you have been through with your current condition and understand your health goals moving forward. After we collect your health history, we will conduct an in-depth examination to assess your neuro-spinal health. This may include, but is not limited to, nerve scans, posture analysis, and X-rays if needed.

How long are the appointments?

Your first appointment will be longer, so we can take you through our thorough consultation and examination process to understand and assess your condition. Regular adjustment appointments can last anywhere from five to 15 minutes.

Is there paperwork I need to fill out?

We advise you to fill out your paperwork before your appointment. This gives us more time to spend with you and focus on your specific issue. Please find our New Patient Paperwork here.

Can I get adjusted while pregnant?

We highly recommend chiropractic care while pregnant. We adjust pregnant women because it increases the likelihood of a healthy pregnancy and successful labor. Chiropractic care keeps the body aligned during a time of significant physical and hormonal change. It reduces pregnancy pain and increases the chances of natural birth by creating ample space in the pelvis, so the baby has room to grow and assume the correct birthing position. This ensures easier labor and delivery.

Can my children get adjusted?

We are a family practice and recommend that all family members have their nervous system evaluated and adjusted throughout their lives. The nervous system is critical for physical and cognitive development, regulating every single cell, tissue, and organ in the body. Children under chiropractic care are stronger, healthier, and function more efficiently when their nervous system is adjusted and maintained. In fact, most of our chiro kids – our term for kids that have been adjusted since birth – take very few to no drugs at all. The Doctor’s kids have never taken a drug in their lives, and we support our children’s health by keeping their bodies and nervous systems free and clear.

Do you take X-rays?

If necessary, we take X-rays to accurately assess the spine and the nervous system.

What supplements do you offer?

At Nurture Wellbeing, we offer a variety of supplements and programs. We have a detoxification program to eliminate all toxins from every single cell in your body. This is a unique program that crosses the blood-brain barrier and can even give your brain a detox. We recommend this program to everyone, especially for patients who have had heavy metal poisoning, mercury (silver) fillings, mold exposure, brain fog, hormonal imbalances, or are interested in losing weight.

We also offer a weight loss program called SprintSet, which educates patients on how to eat the right way, fulfill their nutritional requirements, and lose unnecessary weight.

What do I need to bring for my first appointment?

Please come in comfortable clothing with your new patient application. Bring any MRI or imaging results that may be pertinent to your case, along with a list of medications and supplements you are taking. It’s also a good idea to have your calendar handy, so we can help schedule your next appointments.

Do I get charged if I miss my appointment?

We ask for 24-hour notice for canceling appointments to serve our patients better. No shows or cancellations under 24 hours will be charged for a missed appointment.
